
¡Hola, amigos! The verb poner (to put) is very important in Spanish, as it serves as the base for many other verbs formed simply by adding a prefix. What’s great is that these derived verbs share the same irregularities as poner. Let’s take a look at some of them!
1. Anteponer – To put before
Ella antepone la familia al trabajo.
She puts family before work.
2. Componer – To compose
Ella compone música hermosa.
She composes beautiful music.
3. Disponer – To arrange, to set up, to organize

How do you want to arrange the furniture in the living room?

5. Imponer – To impose
