Did you know that there’s a special type of verb that reflects the action back onto the subject? It’s called a reflexive verb! So, when you use a reflexive verb, it’s like the subject is doing something to themselves. Take, for example, the sentence “I wash myself.” The verb “wash” is reflexive because “I” am doing the washing to myself. It’s a pretty cool grammatical concept, don’t you think?
